Refund Policy

 

In order for us to provide the best possible experience, we need to have an accurate count of in-person attendees as soon as possible.  More importantly, we need to let Disney know how much food to prepare, etc.  Requests for a refund will be handled as followed:

• Refund requests before Dec 31, 2021 will receive a 100% refund to the credit card used to pay for your ticket;

• Refund requests between Jan 1 & Jan 15, 2022, will receive a 100% credit towards the 2023 PMI Conference; 

• Refund requests between Jan 16 & Jan 27, 2022, will receive a 50% credit towards the 2023 PMI conference;  

• To ensure you receive the correct refund credit, please use the following link here. 

• Credit(s) towards future PMI conferences stemming from cancellation(s) after 12/31/2021 are transferrable to another person within your practice if you are unable to join us in 2023.

 

COVID-Related Items

• We will be following Walt Disney World's policies as related to COVID.  As of today, their only restriction is that masks be worn indoors on all Disney properties. 

• Disney's current policy is as followed:

  • Face coverings are required for all Guests (ages 2 and up) in all indoor park and resort locations, regardless of vaccination status. This includes upon entering and throughout all indoor attractions and indoor queue and in Disney buses, monorail and Disney Skyliner, regardless of vaccination status. Face coverings are optional for Guests in outdoor areas.

• We will not be requiring any testing or proof of vaccination in order to attend the conference due to limitations from the state of Florida.  

• Given that the attendees are from the health industry, our expectation is that everyone will be fully vaccinated (with booster, as applicable) prior to attending the conference.  

• We respectfully ask that all attendees consider getting tested prior to their trip to Orlando out of concern for their own well-being as well as the health and safety of their colleagues attending the conference.
   

Social Distancing

• PMI will be live streaming the entire conference for people to join us remotely.  As an added benefit for all in-person attendees, we will provide access to the live stream via the conference app.  With this expanded offering, if at any time you are uncomfortable entering a room for a presentation, you will be able to watch the presentation via the conference app from the comfort of any place with WIFI access via your phone, tablet, or PC.  

 

Changing From In-Person To Virtual Attendance

• If you decide to cancel your in-person ticket and prefer to attend virtually, the process is as followed:

  • Request a full refund for your in-person ticket here 

  • You will receive your credit as outlined above

  • Whenever you are ready, you can then review/purchase any of the virtual attendance options before Jan 27, 2022.

• If you know anyone who is interested in attending virtually (whether they already have an in-person ticket or not), feel free to refer them here to sign up before Jan 27, 2022.

 

Conference App

• The conference app can be accessed by clicking here.

• It will be very important for everyone to log in at that time so you can make any adjustments to your profile as they will be used for printing your name badges, etc. 

• The conference app will also contain the most up-to-date schedule of events as well as the opportunity to connect with everyone attending the conference and receive notice of any announcements.

• PMI will send another email to attendees with a link to the app as well as instructions on how to log in, etc.

 

Dinner Reservations & Park Tickets

• Due to limited capacity at various parks and venues, all attendees are encouraged to plan ahead and plan their dinners and park tickets.  

  • Park tickets can be purchased here

  • Dinner reservations can be made here

• PMI attendees will be provided with breakfast and lunch on Friday, January 28 and Saturday, January 29 (included in the ticket price paid.)

 

Airport To Hotel Transportation

As of today, there are many ways to get to the hotel from the airport including Uber, Lyft, and a variety of other options.  If you would like to schedule something ahead of your arrival, Disney recommends MEARS Connect as a reliable option.
